Repeat Prescriptions

You can order a repeat prescription, by paper request, or on-line.

We do not accept repeat prescription requests by telephone.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ

Please give us your mobile phone number so that we can contact you in the event of a query.

PRESCRIPTION DESTINATION  

Please ALWAYS tell us where you want your prescription to be sent in the comments box on the order form.

Please dont assume that we will know!   If you dont tell us, your prescription may be delayed.

If you have a dedicated Pharmacy your prescriptions will be sent electronically. This is the quickest and most efficient system for repeat medication.  If you do not wish your data to be sent electronically please let us know.

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE EMAIL PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS


On  Bank Holiday weekends, we will still require 2 working days notice so please take this into consideration when planning ahead.

Please note that we are a VERY busy Practice and we process hundreds of repeat prescription requests every week. Please allow AT LEAST TWO WORKING DAYS before collecting your prescription from Rowcroft.  If you would like to collect from a local Pharmacy please give details in the comments box and we will arrange for them to collect it. PLEASE ALLOW A FURTHER 24 HOURS IF YOU ARE COLLECTING FROM YOUR PHARMACIST . Please take that into consideration before making your request.

If you are concerned about where your prescription is in the system and you have requested Pharmacy collection, please check with the Pharmacist first.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We try to offer the best service possible, however you can help by ordering in good time, and by allowing enough time for us to process your request.

Please note that if the website repeat prescription system fails you can send your request by email to rowcroft.scripts@nhs.net

Because of the volume of work involved we do not have the resources available to acknowledge your email request. Please be assured that if you receive this message: "Your email has been sent to the surgery” this serves as confirmation that it has been sent to the surgery and that we are processing your request.

An error message will be received if it has not been sent to the surgery:

"Your email has NOT been sent."  In this instance please send your request direct to rowcroft.scripts@nhs.net.    Thank you
